I’ve been super busy this week. A cousin of mine has been hospitalized since Monday for Dengue Fever. He came from another island, about 90 minutes away. He was in terrible shape when he came, his Blood platelet count was only 2,000. Normally, you would have from 150,000 to 450,000 platelet per microlitre of circulating blood. He’s still in the hospital but the doctor said he could be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. So that’s a good news.
My weekly obsession is Sheryl Crow (I know, it might be a surprise to you). I’ve been listening to her songs non-stop. So, here is a list of my favorite Sheryl Crow’s songs.
- Always on Your Side (2006)
This is my favorite song and I always have this song on my ipod/phone since its release in 2006. There was a speculation that this song was about Lance Armstrong, whom she had a relationship from 2003-2006.
- Picture (2002)
This one is slightly cheating as it is Kid Rock’s song, but it featured/co-written Sheryl Crow.
- The First Cut is the Deepest (2003)
This song was written by Cat Stevens in 1967 and Crow did a cover in 2003. Lately, this song frequent on the radio station that I listen to. From wikipedia: It became one of Crow’s biggest radio hits, remaining 36 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100, and was also Crow’s first Top 40 solo country hit, following the success of her hit duet with Kid Rock, “Picture”. The song topped the airplay charts in the US and became a platinum seller, also reaching No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and went to number one on the AC chart for two nonconsecutive weeks.
